Question: What is the ruling for fasting the whole of the month of al-Muharram because we have heard that it is not established from
the Prophet (ﷺ). So what is the ruling for fasting the whole of it?

Answer: From the scholars are those who say the whole month is to be fasted; however that which is better that (a person) does not fast the whole of it because Aaishah said: ‘The Prophet (ﷺ) did not fast a complete month except Ramadhān.
